We are ElevateMeD, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2019 who is prioritizing physician workforce diversity, closing the gap of financial inequity in medical education, and empowering the next generation of physician leaders!
On October 2, 2021, we proudly hosted our third annual Explosion of a Dream fundraiser at Scottsdale Hangar One. Prior to our celebration, we held our first Scholars Summit where we provided critical professional development and headshots for our Scholars in attendance. That evening, supporters from across the country joined us as we raised over $100,000 for the future of medicine. presented a $50,000 award to University of Arizona Scholar Caylan Moore on behalf of the Inspire Youth Enrichment Foundation
presented our first Breaking Barriers Award to diversity trailblazer Dr. Dale Okorodudu, founder of #BlackMenInWhiteCoats and Diverse Medicine
