We are proud to recognize Truist as a major sponsor of Ignite Atlanta 2026 and a valued partner in advancing our mission to support the next generation of physician leaders. From financial wellness trainings for our Scholars to partnering in community events, Truist continues to stand with us.
Ahead of Ignite Atlanta, our Scholars and a group of youth participated in Truist’s Life, Money, and Choices simulation at their Peachtree office, gaining hands-on experience navigating real-world financial decisions. On April, 17, our Scholars will build on that experience by helping lead the simulation for students at a local Atlanta high school in partnership with Truist. This is partnership in action, equipping future physicians while investing in the next generation.
Update from 4/17/26
Part 2 of ElevateDReams at Mays High School brought together 100 students, primarily juniors and seniors, with even one freshman eager to join after hearing about the experience. Our Scholars, Naomi Coles, Aly Toure, and Gabriel (Ekene) Agu, led with authenticity and purpose, sharing their journeys into medicine and the lessons that shaped them along the way. Students were introduced to ElevateMeD and the importance of expanding access and opportunity in medicine, both in Atlanta and beyond. Building on their recent participation in Truist’s Life, Money & Choices simulation, our Scholars helped guide students through real-world financial decision-making alongside Truist teammates. School administration, Truist associates, and Atlanta Public Schools district leadership were present and deeply engaged, with many noting how naturally our Scholars connected with and inspired the students. This is partnership in action, equipping future physicians while investing in the next generation.
Truist’s partnership with ElevateMeD began in 2025 supporting Ignite Atlanta and volunteering to host an ElevateMeD Scholars virtual program. A session where Truist shared budgeting and savings strategies, money management tools, planning for homeownership with professional plans/products specialized for doctors.
