We are proud to spotlight The Cagnolatti Daniels Family Foundation, whose vision and generosity are helping elevate the next generation of physicians and leaders. Their support strengthens ElevateMeD’s programs that provide scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development to medical students who are committed to transforming healthcare for all communities.
Lisa Cagnolatti, on behalf of her husband Ed and The Cagnolatti Daniels Family Foundation (Explosion of a Dream White Coat Sponsor), underscored the urgent need for culturally competent care and the critical importance of supporting ElevateMeD’s mission. The need inspired them to become part of the solution and host their 40th anniversary party in support of ElevateMeD, asking 150 of their closest friends to donate to their family foundation in lieu of gifts. They transformed a personal milestone into a powerful act of collective philanthropy. What began as a celebration of love and partnership became a testament to the couple’s deep commitment to community, inspiring others to see how personal joy can be leveraged for lasting social impact.
The Foundation’s investment reflects a belief in creating a more inclusive and compassionate future in medicine. Their partnership fuels the kind of change that ensures every patient can be cared for by a physician who understands their story.

Rooted in the belief that “To whom much is given, much is required,” the founders of the Cagnolatti Daniels Family Foundation have dedicated their lives to uplifting future generations through education and opportunity. As a couple deeply committed to equity and empowerment, they established the foundation to provide financial support to organizations that award scholarships to young scholars from underserved communities.
Their philanthropic vision centers on long-term investment—not just in students, but in the communities they represent. With a special focus on Indigenous/Native American and African American youth, the founders recognize the resilience and determination it takes to pursue education in the face of systemic barriers.
