  • Hometown: Born in Lagos, Nigeria (hometown is Surprise, AZ)

  • Medical Education: Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine

  • Undergraduate Education: Columbia University in Biology

  • Current Career Plan: pursue a career as a skin of color dermatologist, focusing on addressing health disparities through social innovation, clinical practice and education

  • Specialty Interest: Medical Specialty

  • I am most proud of creating the "Robin Hood of PPE" - a program that has collected over 500,000 unused masks, goggles, and other medical supplies and redistributed thousands of them to safety net clinics and organizations serving marginalized communities here in Arizona.

  • You might be surprised to know that I am working on an original comic book about a Black college student who gets superpowers from wearing a durag.

  • ElevateMeD is… so much more than a scholarship organization - it's a diverse community of passionate students and dedicated mentors who have a moral obligation to address issues of health inequity on a policy, practice, and population level.
