Current Career Plan: pursuing a career in anesthesia specializing in chronic pain (I also plan to be involved with medical education and physician mentorship.)

I am most proud of representing my Puerto Rican and ADOS heritage in all things I pursue in my career.
You might be surprised to know that I've been on the world's longest zip line in Orocovis, Puerto Rico.

I chose to pursue a career in anesthesiology because I enjoy moment-to-moment decision making as well as the practical application of physiology and pharmacology. 3% of anesthesiologists are reported to identify as Black/African-American. Of those 3%, the majority are women.
