ElevateMeD Awards 2024 Trailblazer Award to Chiquita Lockley

2024 Trailblazer Award presented to
Chiquita Lockley

Scottsdale, Arizona/Atlanta, Georgia- Scottsdale-based nonprofit organization ElevateMeD is proud to announce its third Trailblazer Award recipient, Chiquita Lockley. The ElevateMeD Trailblazer Award is presented to individuals who are making extraordinary contributions within the world of healthcare. The organization will present the award at its annual scholarship fundraising event, Ignite Atlanta, at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

About Elevatemed Awards

Established in 2019, the organization determined it wanted to give recognition to community advocates who are also working tirelessly towards improving healthcare for all. The organization has presented two of its Trailblazer Awards to Dr. Fatu Forna and Larry Fitzgerald, Jr. of The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation.

The first step to creating meaningful change is the initiation of open and candid dialogue. For too long women of color have been marginalized, overlooked and underserved in the Reproductive Fertility space. We honor Chiquita Lockley as our Trailblazer of the year for boldly fostering a safe space for Black women to share their personal stories; allowing them to control their narrative on issues of infertility.
