I am most proud of my research project about enhancing patient education on nutrition.
You might be surprised to know that one my favorite jobs was working as a sales representative for Cutco Cutlery/Vector Marketing.
ElevateMeD is… an opportunity for me play an active role in helping address the systemic and financial barriers that nearly prevented me from achieving my dream of practicing medicine.

I chose to pursue a career in anesthesiology because I enjoy moment-to-moment decision making as well as the practical application of physiology and pharmacology. 3% of anesthesiologists are reported to identify as Black/African-American. Of those 3%, the majority are women.
