I am most proud of pursuing my master's degree in journalism at Stanford while in medical school, which has enabled me to build on my passion for storytelling and amplifying unheard voices.
You might be surprised to know that my name is short for Chikaodinaka, which means "In God's Hands". I also know American Sign Language.
ElevateMeD is… a powerful catalyst for change—more than a scholarship, it is a community committed to empowering future physician leaders from underrepresented backgrounds. It offers mentorship, career development, and a lifelong network of support to help scholars thrive and drive impact in their communities. To me, ElevateMeD represents a legacy of service, storytelling, and systemic transformation in medicine.
