I am most proud of my ability to make and maintain meaningful friendships.
You might be surprised to know that I took Mandarin for 4 years during high school, I also played the violin for my college orchestra, and enjoy performing jazz compositions on the piano.
ElevateMeD is… a unique program that provides tailored support through financial means, peer networking, mentorship, and leadership. The program provides a safe framework for underrepresented minorities to feel represented. Having a program instill belief in you as a minority student helps you remember you BELONG and are needed in medicine.
