Adam Brown discovered medicine as transformative force, shaping every aspect of his life through the mission of serving others in need. With the force came the honor of stepping into a leadership role in his community.

Hometown: Portland, Oregon
Medical Education: Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine
Undergraduate Education: Concordia University-Portland in Chemistry
Current Career Plan: Pursue a combination of both emergency and critical care medicine, and practice as an attending physician in an academic setting. I also desire to be actively involved in both community initiatives as well as overseas medical relief.
Specialty Interest: Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
I am most proud of my relationships in life. Specifically, I am most proud of my relationship with my parents, friends, mentors, and colleagues in medicine. In addition, I am proud of the opportunities I have to create more relationships with others of diverse backgrounds, differing languages, and cultures.
You might be surprised to know that I was a collegiate sprinter at my college, Concordia University-Portland.
ElevateMeD is… an opportunity to increase the number, overall health, and leadership capabilities of Underrepresented Students in Healthcare. I believe this initiative is both an amazing opportunity for students to learn practical skills related to leadership, financial literacy, and advocacy, while at the same time it is a stepping stone towards a more diverse, equitable, and culturally relevant physician workforce who can truly serve the communities they represent. I am super excited to be a part of this program and very thankful to the donors.

All Medical Personnel’s partnership with ElevateMeD continues with a generous donation of $43,000 in 2022. In 2021, $52,647 was raised totaling over $95,000 for the past two years.
