  • I am most proud of persevering on my journey to medical school. My initial score on my first MCAT was not competitive enough to earn me a spot at a medical school, therefore I had to take an extra gap year, retake the MCAT and apply to medical school again. I know I’m not alone in this experience and I understand how much it can make you question your self worth, and continuing to preserve is not easy, but it was so worth it.

  • You might be surprised to know that I have a Guinness world record for the most people playing the same game of Catan at the same time.

  • ElevateMeD is… picking up where most medical schools fall short. They are bridging the gap between a statement on diversity and actual action by elevating and supporting students who are underrepresented in medicine. They stand to have a lasting impact on the field of medicine because every student they support will enter their careers as embodiments of the mission of ElevateMeD.
