ElevateMeD Day is proclaimed in the City of Scottsdale on September 24th! As a Scottsdale-based nonprofit organization, we’re excited to find innovative ways to celebrate the future of medicine annually with those who believe in our mission to increase physician workforce diversity!

ElevateMeD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to elevating medicine by providing scholarships, mentorship, and support to medical students from African-American/Black, Latinx, and Native American backgrounds. Since 2019, we’ve supported over 50 students from medical schools across the country!

The 2026 Explosion of a Dream weekend (September 18-20) featured our sixth annual Scholars Summit and our eighth signature fundraising event, Explosion of a Dream in support of the ElevateMeD Scholars Program. Guests and ElevateMeD Scholars gathered from across the country for the third year in a row at the Camby Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona!
