2026-27 Application Cycle

The ElevateMeD Scholars program is a multifaceted program designed to develop the next generation of physician leaders.  In the inaugural year, ElevateMeD will competitively award $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the ten most talented medical students from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine.

2026-27 ElevateMeD Scholarship Application Interest

Share the news! ElevateMeD will hold an open call for the 2026-27 ElevateMeD Scholars program.

Each selected ElevateMeD Scholar will be awarded a tuition-based scholarship as a medical student enrolled full-time at an accredited medical school. In addition to scholarship support, Scholars receive physician mentorship, leadership development opportunities, financial literacy, and access to ElevateMeD network support. They are invited to our annual Explosion of a Dream Scholars Summit, an all expenses paid internal conference, where they receive storytelling and public speaking coaching, financial literacy education and workshops tailored to their professional development.

Application Information Session (NOV 2025)

Medical students interested in applying for the 2026-27 ElevateMeD Scholars program will have the opportunity to meet Scholarship Committee Chair, Dr. Tiffany Hardaway, learn more about the scholars program, what’s expected from applicants, and ask questions. Sign-up to receive the Zoom link for the session and the access code to apply via email when applications open in early 2026.

Requirements

  • Medical students applying to the 2026-27 scholarship application cylce should anticipate graduating in 2027 and apply to the 2027 match.
