Current Career Plan: I'm passionate about medicine and social justice, so I plan to pursue dermatology and promote diversity in the field. I'll provide quality care to underserved communities and mentor students from underrepresented backgrounds. My goal is to create an inclusive environment for patients and make a difference in their lives.
Specialty Interest: Medical Specialty
I am most proud of my mother for becoming a nurse despite facing adversity early in life. Her determination to provide a better life for us has been a constant source of inspiration and has instilled in me the strength to overcome obstacles and pursue my goals.
You might be surprised to know that I was a competitive cheerleader at Michigan State University.
ElevateMeD is… a scholarship program that is devoted to supporting the next generation of black and brown physicians by providing financial support and mentorship opportunities. They foster a community of leaders who are passionate about promoting diversity and serving their communities.
