Undergraduate Education: University of Michigan in Microbiology and Spanish
Current Career Plan: Finish residency training for a dual or single Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine program, work as an attending and within medical education in the Detroit area, and perform clinical and translational research.
Specialty Interest: Medical Specialty
I am most proud of my continued perseverance and diligence during the stressful and trying times in medical school. I am also proud of my accomplishments and willingness to continue to challenge myself during the process.
You might be surprised to know that I have a twin brother, I live a plant-based lifestyle--going on 11 years, and I used to play in a band in college.
ElevateMeD is… a program that continues to uplift and advocate underrepresented students through means of financial and professional development as well as support. The program shows us, as future physicians, the inherent importance of giving back and paying it forward for our future colleagues!
