Intern Program

Since 2024, undergraduate premedical students have had the opportunity to raise their awareness about disparities in medicine through content creation, engaging with the ElevateMeD community through mentorship, and attending the ElevateMeD Scholars Summit. Interns are compensated through an all-expenses-paid experience with the ElevateMeD Scholars Summit, in addition to receiving personal financial literacy education and medical school admissions counseling to ensure their successful matriculation into medical school. Elevate(pre)MeD interns enjoy near-peer mentorship from our ElevateMeD Connect Scholars.

Interns are responsible for supporting the design and execution of social media campaigns. Interns support the Program Manager to develop outreach and awareness campaign strategies to increase visibility and engagement with the organization. As a ElevateMeD Intern, you will work closely with the Program Manager, who will provide you with hands-on projects and tasks that use social media platforms to promote and share ElevateMeD's mission. 

Timeline: Summer 2026 - May 2027

• July Intern Orientation and onboarding

• 9/18/26 - 9/20/26 Explosion of a Dream Weekend in Phoenix, Arizona

• Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week + Monthly Intern meetings (30mins)
